The first
Inclusive Games in History

On October 7, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the first competition will be held where Spanish Olympic and Paralympic athletes will compete together in different disciplines thanks to inclusive regulations.

The events will be held in one-of-a-kind facilities: the High Performance Center of the Spanish Higher Sports Council.. *

*Due to COVID-19 reasons, spectator attendance will not be allowed, but the entire competition can be followed live on television and via streaming.

Competitions and schedule

Nine different disciplines in which athletes with and without disabilities will compete together. Inclusive regulations will be used, created by the Spanish sports and disability federations alongside the CSD, COE, CPE and the Fundación Sanitas Chair.

Athletics

32 athletes from the RFEA and 32 athletes from all Federations with Disabilities. Five disciplines. The whole spectacle of inclusive athletics.

Badminton

In Tokyo 2020 badminton was a Paralympic sport for the first time. In Barcelona'92 it was declared as an Olympic sport. The Inclusive Games unite two athletes with disabilities and two without them in a mixed competition that will not disappoint.

Wheelchair basketball

3 against 3. All participants will face each other in a wheelchair. Normal game, three-point contest, all with the excitement of high-level basketball.

Judo

A mixed team competition with four categories: Men's Olympic, Women's Olympic, Paralympic and Inclusive in which the winner will be the one who adds the most points. A pure show in which technique is much more important than strength.

Swimming

The pool will be one of the great spotlights where the action of the Inclusive Games will be concentrated. Four teams of eight members each, four with disabilities and four without them, will face off in the "time trial" format in different swimming styles.

Rugby

Competition between two teams of 7, "Rugby sevens" in which players with and without disabilities will be mixed. 16 minute matches. All the emotion of the best rugby.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo has been incorporated into the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000. Competition based on the legs (punches given with the fists do not score), which will make this competition a spectacular moment.

Table tennis

Sport with a great Paralympic tradition, since Rome'60, 28 years before the incorporation of the Olympic version into the program. Six players divided into two teams of 3 each will play a total of three dizzying matches.

Triathlon

Four teams will compete, each team consisting of a disabled competitor paired with a non-disabled one. 800 meters of running, 2 km of cycling and 400 meters of running. The thrill of the best duathlon in both segments.
